Reading: author & illustrator's job, pictures match words on a page, we read left to right, top to bottom
Writing: using labels to create map books
Social studies: continue discussing how families are different today from the past including transportation & communication. Introduce maps as we prepare to learn about our community.
How can you help at home?
Review anything your child has missed on the assessments from the past few weeks, including sight words and letters. We will reassess these skills before we mark them on the report card; this gives your child time to improve before the final assessment.
