Community Helpers

We have been learning about community helpers in class.  We have had visitors come in to share about their job and answer questions.  Yesterday we were visited by the police department and fire department.  We got to see step by step how a fireman gets dressed.  We also got to look at a patrol car and a fire truck.  Today we learned about construction and working for the Air Force.  We had an opportunity to explore blue plans for local buildings and watch a video about the Air Force.  The students were very eager to ask questions and learn about these jobs.  A very special "Thank you" to our visitors.
