Fall walk

Yesterday we went on a walk to look for signs of fall using our five senses.  We found leaves that are changing colors and a few leaves and acorns already on the ground.  We listened to the sound the leaves make as they crunched under our feet.  We went back to the Wonder Room to touch and see others items related to fall such as gourds and pumpkins.  We observed those items like scientist, paying careful attention to their details.  We smelled fall in the air as we baked, then tasted pumpkin muffins.  It was a fun way to use our five senses to learn about seasonal changes.
